The CT HT applicator is designed to position Mylar tape at the open corner of flexible spacer frames ensuring maximum gas retention, ensuring excellent thermal performance of the finished product.
Mounted on the in-line conveyor, it precisely stops and holds the sheet with flexible spacer, automatically cuts the Mylar tape to size (based on the width of the spacer profile) and places the 30 mm long segment of tape directly on the open corner. The CT HT applicator reduces manual operator intervention to a minimum, reconciling accuracy and structural integrity, gas retention and aesthetics of the finished product.
