Art. AP ES

Flat Coupling Press

The coupling press Art. AP ES performs the coupling and pressing of IG units quickly and with absolute precision, managing both rigid and flexible frames for IG units, with double or triple glass (one or two chambers up to 65 mm of thickness). It can be equipped as optional with a gas filling system (argon). The incoming pane is immediately scanned by a system of sensors that detect the thickness of the pane, the thickness of the frame and butyl, and the dimensions of the sheet, to calculate the volume of the chamber and the amount of gas required.

Art. AS ES

Flexible Spacer Applicator

The flexible spacer applicator Art. AS ES offers a perfect integration with the flexible frame. It can be installed as an alternative or in addition to the traditional processing with rigid frame. Art. AS ES is available in 2 models, to process IG units up 4,000 x2,500 mm Art. AS ES is also equipped with a mechanical and software control that ensures the perfect spreading of the material on the pane and manages any product used. The panel is supported by a suction cup with horizontal synchronous motion during the application.

Frame Positioning Conveyor

The “Residential” range offers different versions of the frame positioning stations Art. FP ES:

  • The first version is a “basic” frame positioning station, equipped with neon light and available in two models with different maximum workable formats, up to 3,600 x 2,500 mm. The station in equipped with horizontal and lower manual references for easy frame positioning.
  • The second version is available in four different models with different maximum workable formats (up to 6000 x 3300 mm), with horizontal and lower manual references. During processing, sensors acquire the pane format and the mobile bars, equipped with a LED light system, are positioned automatically. The inspection room, with a special black structure, allows the check of the rear side of the glass.
Art. IS ES

Inspection Station

The “Residential” range offers different version of the inspection stations Art. IS, to better fit the different needs of the glaziers.
The first version is a “basic” ispection station for the visual check of the glass. Equipped with neon lights, capable of processing glass sheets up to 3,600 x 2,500 mm.
The second version is quite different to the previous one: with a rear inspection chamber for the check of both the sides of the glass sheet, it’s equipped with led light and automatic reference bars. it can process glass sheets up to 6,000 x 3,300 mm.

Art. CR ES

Low-E coating removal machine

Forel developed the coating removal machine Art. CR to offer an extremely precise removal of the Low-E coating from the surface of the glass, allowing a correct application of the frame and a perfect sealing of the unit. The coating removal machine Art. CR is equipped with 2 operative heads with peripheral abrasive grinding wheels: the heads work simultaneously, significantly reducing production times. In the “Residential” version, Art. CR is available in two models, to process glass sheets up to the maximum size of 4.000 x 2.500 mm. The coating removal machine Art. CR can process rectangular sheets (also in self learning mode) and shaped sheets. Art. CR is equipped with a dust extraction system, a specific tool for the automatic wheel regeneration and many other features.

Art. AC ES

Rotating Corner Conveyor

The Art. AC ES automated corner conveyor turns either glass sheets or double glazed units safely and efficiently. It uses and maximises the available space in the glasswork, without interrupting overall production cycle. The conveyor can join together machines at any angle other than 0° (usually 90°), rotating counterclockwise and clockwise. It optimises production thanks to its perfect synchronization with other production line machineries. The length of the glass sheet to be handled can exceed the length of the corner conveyor, thanks to Forel’s exclusive and patented handling system.

Art. SH ES

Sealing Robot “Hot Melt”

The Art. SH ES is an automatic sealing robot, developed to maximize productivity in the production of IG units with “hot melt single” sealants. The extrusion head is equipped with a depth measuring device, ensuring that the volume of sealant is precisely dozed. A volumetric dosing units, enriched with thermo regulated heating elements, ensures that the material is correctly extruded in a constant and homogenous way. The machine is equipped with a series of thermoheated areas, continuously monitored by a control unit.

Sealing Robot “Residential”

The “Residential” Sealing Robot Art. SR ES has been developed for processing double or triple glazed insulating glass units with the common size, thicknesses and characteristics required by the residential market. It can use up to two sealing products, extruding at a sealing depth up to 15 mm. Art. SR ES is available in two models, capable of processing a maximum size of 4,000 x 2,000 mm or of 4,000 x 2,500 mm.

Art. AT ES

T-Shape Flexible Spacer applicator

The flexible profile applicator Art. AT HT offers a perfect result in IG with “T-Shape” spacer processing. The profile is stored (up to 4 reels) in a special hermetic cabin next to the machine. Art. AT ES is available in 2 model, to process IG units up 4,000 x2,500 mm. Art. AT removes the protective films on the sides of the profile and spreads the butyl at the intersections, in a non-stop extrusion system.
The profile buffer (patent) allows to prepare in advance the profile, obtaining a uniform butylation and minimizing slowdowns. Art. AT ES can process both rectangular (also in self-learning mode) and shaped glass. At the end, the Corner Tape applicator closes the frame on the joint.

Art. RC ES

Turning Conveyor

The turning conveyor Art. RC ES can rotate at any angle, clockwise or counterclockwise. Usually, the solution is used to turn the glass of 180°, orientating low-emissive glass coatings correctly, thus facilitating the production of glazed units with 2 or more sheets. It can be used in-line or as a corner conveyor, depending on the user’s requirements. It allows the best possible arrangement of space, with a machining process that does not require interruption of the production cycle. Art. RC ES optimizes production, thanks to the perfect synchronization of all the line machinery.

Art. VW ES

Vertical Washing Machine

The vertical washing machine Art. VW is one of the most versatile and appreciated solutions of Forel. In the “Residential” version, Art. VW is available in two models, which correspond to two different maximum size (4.000 mm x 2.000 mm and 4.000 mm x 2.500 mm) up to 200 kg for linear meter of capacity and 25 mm of thickness. The washing machine is equipped with 6 brushes of 200 mm of diameter. Thanks to its exclusive features (including the thickness reading device and the low-e coating detector on the front side of the glass), Art. VW ES can manage the washing of standard glass, to reach always the best result.

Art. PB

Automatic Profile Bender

The Profile Bending Machine Art. PB is a strategic tool for any insulating glass unit producer and one the world’s highest performance solutions for spacer bending. It can process easily any kind of spacer, perfectly calibrating each single bend with the aid of dedicated software. The main important features of the machine is the special Smart Arm (patent) which accompanies and supports the frame: thanks to this feature, is possible to process even large frames avoiding the breakage or deformation of the spacer.

Art. MB

Manual Butyl Extruder

The Art. MB butyl extruder ensures full compliance with the most stringent standards required for the primary seal. The Butyl rubber is dispensed by two extruder nozzles through two separate dispensers, which ensures an uniform distribution around the whole perimeter (a special feature unique to Forel). The touch screen unit manages at the same time the automatic opening of the nozzles (width adjustment) and the positioning of the pre-extrusion guides, according to the selected spacer width value. The injection capacity (grams of butyl rubber per linear metre) can be set directly. Art. MB is able to apply butyl rubber on shaped profiles or Georgian bar frames, with exceptional accuracy and simplicity of operation. Preproduction heating can be pre-set to automatically turn on.

Art. DF

Desiccant Filler

The Spacer Processing range of Forel is completed by the Desiccant Filler Art. DF. Consisting of a turret holding a frame-pressing vice, and two special drilling and filling heads, this solution can process frames of any form, whether rectangular or shaped. Art. DF can also be fitted with an automatic frame loading/unloading system; in this way, the desiccant loader can be automatically fed and the butyl application unit can be topped up immediately afterwards.

Art. CA

Cork Pads Applicator

The Art. CA automatic cork pads applicator further optimize the IG unit production process. The solution is equipped with 4 or 5 applicator heads, automatically positioned according to the height of the glass pane and the varying needs of the operator. Each movable head is fed from a material reel, which is easily and rapidly replaced. The material unwound from the reel is cut and applied to the moving glass. The operator uses software to set the distance between the applied pads.

Art. SQ

Quality Control Scanner

The Art. SQ scanner performs real-time quality control on the glass by detecting defects, indentations or microfractures, and displaying them on the monitor, alerting the operator immediately. A combination of innovative software and technology allows this scanner to detect accurate information as the glass is moving along the insulated glass production line conveyor or on a glass processing line conveyor. This solution is equipped with a dedicated software that produces images with a resolution of up to 400 dpi (0.0635 mm). The defects detected by the scanner can be categorized by the user according to the type and size of defect, and can be achieved for future reference and analysis.
