SQ ES is an inline digital scanner for quality control by highlighting any surface defects on both sides of a glass plate. It uses proven scanning technology in combination with a light source. Imperfections such as scratches, cracks and chips can be detected using a variable-scale inspection cursor, which can be adjusted by the operator to specific standards.
The scanner is normally mounted vertically on the line after the washing machine. Thanks to its versatility, this module can be fully integrated into an insulating glass production line. All plate quality information is stored internally while file data can be exported and retained for post-production analysis.
